The big 20MB Catalyst 3.0 driver package could be the entire driver set for all Radeon cards, not just the 9700 Pro. Its just like a big combined package of all the drivers.The smaller one is likely the drivers for the 9700 Pro alone, not for any other Radeon. Your best bet is to download the smaller Catalyst 3a drivers for the 9700 Pro rather than getting the big pack, since all you want anyway are the 9700 Pro drivers. And if you want the "goodies" then download the control panel too.
