Slightly OT... ASUS V8420 video card TV-in/out

Featured Replies

After several months of tuning my new ASUS A7V333 motherboard and V8420 deluxe video card, so that my flightsims work okay, I tried to move on to do some video capture/display with this combo.Has anybody with this mobo/video combo successfully done any video capture and/or TV-out? And if so, I will be very interested in what I may have to do to accomplish same...================================================================I am totally unable to read any external video at all, nor display any video out to TV... The "nVidia WDM Video Capture (Universal)" device always shows up with the yellow exclamation point and the "Device cannot start" error message.I am running the nvidia 1.22 WDM drivers, the 40.72 video drivers, and the latest VGARTD drivers from the ASUS site.I have tried other driver combinations, with no difference. There is some chatter on the internet that this motherboard may not be providing sufficient voltage on the 3.3volt bus, in order to properly drive the card. ASUS Smartdoctor shows that my system is consistently at about 3.18 - 3.20 Volts.I should mention that my local supplier is quite helpful "bring it in and we will look at it" :-hah , but they admit that they have not actually checked this combo out before, and so I am not confident that anything useful is going to happen there.
