February 10, 200323 yr Anandtech's Barton review is up, for anyone who's interested. Read it here:http://www.anandtech.com/cpu/showdoc.html?i=1783&p=1Where the review gets into the actual tests, at the bottom of each page of charts is a CPU scaling graph that is the best visual representation I've seen comparing the various CPU's. The test beds use state of the art chipsets and video cards, so it is a good comparison.-Basil
February 10, 200323 yr AMD XP 3000--Barton core. Running on a ASUS A7N8X(Nvidia chipset) and Corsair memory.Sim HQ says you can buy them now but what I've seen on Price Watch is 2/21.My guide to when these CPU's are available is when Newegg actually has them in stock. Right now you can't even get the 2800's.Davidhttp://www.simhq.com/simhq3/hardware/revie...000/index.shtml
February 12, 200323 yr I read that review, and was surprised at the low 3dmark score, given the system components. Something doesn't seem right about that setup.--Basil
