missing throttle w/ logitech wingman rumblepad

hi folks, recently bought a logitech rumblepad, basically for some racing games where it works great but then I also wanted to give the force feedback a try in fs2002. well, although everything is set up the throttle lever/slider does not work. or let me put it this way: using the calibration utility in device manager it does work. but not in fs20002 although it is assigned to the correct axis as throttle and the slider is even recognized as 'throttle'. any idea?to make things even more complicated: I usually use a CH Yoke USB which works also fine, even with throttle.
