Well according to Microsoft its either of these conditions:Damaged or corrupt windows swap fileBadly defragmented hard driveRun scandisk on the drive scratched cd.If you got to www.microsoft.com/games and select the Flight Simulator 2002 option, then go to technical support after youget there click "setup". On this page it will tell you how to troubleshoot your problem.I Have been having the same problem and I have narrowed it down toeither a scratched cd or failing hard drive. Good Luck!
