hi, i have a question. the properties box of the geforce 2 gts in the display settings window says sometimes that the graphics bus is 2x and sometimes it is 4x. it is actually 4x. does anybody know why this happens? thanks. Asad.

Check your BIOS you can sometimes specify the AGP settings in there. A BIOS update never hurts.

but a bios update may cause my system to be unstable. right?

bios updates usually do the contrary, they fix issues

If they work that is.If they don't you're looking at a new motherboard (or at the very least getting a new BIOS chip from the manufacturer).

if you don't los epower you should be fine. Some of the better boards out there have a recovery mode and some even have 2 bios chips
