HELP Win XP and SB Audigy sound problems

Featured Replies

Ever since I installed win XP home (clean install) my SB live and now a new Audigy sound bad. The sound changes as I fly and has noise in it from time to time. I use to use win ME and had no problems with sound.I have installed the latest drivers from there site. This only seem's to be an issue with FS as all other sound apps seem fine.Any help would be great as XP ROCKS and this is the last problem I have.XP homePIII 1gig1024 megon and on and on :)

Are you running the latest MB drivers and Bios for your particular setup?. Always check these before looking elsewhere. If you are than the other alternative is try turning hardware acceleration down a notch and see if you still have the same problem.Bobby

Are you running the latest Audigy drivers? Try updating those. What Direct X are you running? Tat may be worth updating as well
