Hi there.does anyone know how I can use more than one monitor in FS2002, I want to have a central one with the cockpit and forwayd view, then a monitor on the left with the forward-left view, and one on the right with the forward-right view, can this be done in FS2002 or will I have to wait for FS2004 which is I believe supposed to support multi-monitors, I can allways use it for windows anyway, but would be nice to use in FS too, it's easy enough to add a couple of PCI display cards and attach the monitors,I'm just not too sure about the flight sim view side of it,thank you,Steve

Yes you can, but you don't want to unless you have multiple PCs running FS at the same time. The reason is,when you render more than one outside view(which is what you are proposing), the PC slows to a crawl. If you set up a home network, you can run WideView, which would allow you to run multiple outside views. However, if you just wanted to use the second monitor for other things besides an outside view, then yes, it will be a feasable and benificial addition to your FS setup. You can move pop up views(like the overhead in 767 PIC) to the second monitor, and that won't slow the PC down one bit.

or you can (with an nvidia) hook up two montiors to the card and select horizontal strech under nview options and have 2650 X 720 across two monitors. the result is a huge panoramic view of the vc, pannable of course. a streched 2d panel that actually looks good w/ some panels, u get a large view outside from the 2d panel. Best part is that there is minimal frame rate hit.Dell 82002.53 gig512mb rdramti4200 64mb17" syncmaster 172t15" lg 2048 x 768
