{newbie} can anyone tell me what 8x agp means on a graphics card ,i have a 64mb gf3 ti 200 and was thinking of getting 128mb ddr gf4 mx440 8x agp thanks

8x AGP refers to two things8x -- The speed at which the videocard can send and recieve data. The higher this number(8x is the fastest right now), the more data that can move back and forth. This is the major bottleneck in all videocards.AGP -- Simply refers to the type of connection on the board. AGP is a videocard only slot.
