Strange Graphics Problems

Featured Replies

I am running into some strange graphics problems on my system and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. I am using a low end PC (Pentium III 450 mhz) with a Radeon VE 32 MB Video Card and 384 MB Ram. With the settings turned down, things seem to run ok, just low end FPS. Well, in my attempt to get the most out of the system, I upgraded to some new Omeaga drivers taht were supposed to work with all Radeon cards. Well, when I restarted, the resolution was all messed up, in fact had to boot in safe mode to view the desktop and after about 8 atteempts, I was able to load a base VGA driver to be able to boot in standard mode and see the desktop there.I then re-installed the Radeon drivers I had been using all along. Now, when I run FS2002, the graphics are all messed up. I get black squares in different places in the scenery, etc. The planes are ok just the scenry is messed up in places. Only seems to be an issue with FS2002. Could there be some registry changes that impacted FS2002. Is it possible an uninstall and re-install of FS2002 would fix this.I have tried to reinstall my drivers several times including overwriting newer ATI files with the default ones I was using.Cannot seem to nail this one down. If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it.Regards,Mark

A reinstall of FS2002 seems to have fixed the problem.Mark
