Video cards for FS 2002

Featured Replies

Hi!I am into buying a new ATI Radeon 9700 Pro and I wonder if anyoneknows if it is a good 3D card for FS 2002.....Happy for your experience and tips........Live well!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

To be honest, any Radeon beginning with a 9 (9000 to 9800) makes a great simming card depending on the budget. Even the 8500 can make a great simming card. I choose not to upgrade my Radeon 7200 64MB because my 'good but getting old' Athlon 1.2GHz system will not benefit much from it (I still have the old PC133 RAM and only 2x AGP).

it's an awesome card but some people on this forum had problems with them. not sure if later driver versions fixed the problems.

Great card. Great increase in FPS, and quality is amazing. Had a 64mb Geforce 4 MX. I love the ATI, make sure you delete all Nvidia drivers, and do a proper install along with the current latest ATI drivers. It works like a charm. Also make sure your computer can handle it and 8x AGP along with a 300 Watt power supply.IF this is okay go for it. [email protected]
