Help -- What makes a great FS aircraft?

Featured Replies

Greetings,We need your help in finding GREAT handling aircraft so we can document the dynamic flight charateristics. By great, I am asking from your perceptuion and from your system, which aircraft do you like to fly? What I am seeking is what makes this aircraft more fun and acceptable to your flying needs then this one.We have discovered how to document the response to control surface commands the dynamic response of the aircraft. This is what you "feel" and experience. I am seeking to be able to chart a band of acceptance so the small developers can publish an aircraft that "most all" will like and fly on a regular basis.I would like to start and limit this first phase of the discussion to General Avaiation, single engine aircraft. I have data on the excellent Debonair and the recently released Robin DR400 for a step function response of a full up elevator command. Also, please limit it to freeware aircraft unless you can send me a free and clear title to a paywear aircraft. ;-) AND PLEASE, no public utterance on the worst aircraft you have used. I would howeverlike to have it in private so I can draw in the floor of acceptance. We will not publish who said/sent what. Many thanks for the assistance.Bobwe r [email protected] additional information please read the threads at:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID9/1481.html#0andhttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID9/1476.html#0
