A few weeks ago I bought a new PC running an MSI FX5800 which gave me nothing but trouble despite latest drivers and even pointing a couple 12V fans onto into (they helped reduce lockups somewhat though). XP would perform reboots at random, then I experienced lockups.Anyhow, I took the PC back and got them to swap it over for a Saphire ATI Radeon Pro 9700 and I'm pleased to report it has my simulator humming along !! :) :) I flew my first Captain Speaking Adventure in a B747 from London to Berlin the other day, all sliders maxed-out, and saw average 30fps no worries and without a hitch. I have to say that I didn't notice any real difference in image quality between the two cards, however this may be just me not being that picky. In retrospect, I should have gone with an ATI to begin with. To top it off, for an extra few bucks, I picked up the Saphire which gives me TV tuner, and all the bells and whistles for video editing etc. :)Athlon 3000+1GbWin XPCheers,Angel
