July 5, 200322 yr Hey all,I have actually 2 of these sticks, and been using it for years without a problem. I am currently building a new system with XP as the OS, and wondering if i need to buy a new stick at all? Does the old Precision Pro work on XP? Is there a patch for it?Thanx in advance,=Swiv=

July 5, 200322 yr lol,no sombody told me that the older Sidewinder Precision Pro sticks didn't work on older games, if you run them in XP, or that the stick wasn't recognized at all without a particular driver? So my real question is, do all the "older" ms sticks work in xp. ;) Like u said they should work if they're both MS products, i was just curious how true the info was...8)
July 5, 200322 yr Well I don't really know.. You'll have to just get XP, and search for XP drivers if it doesn't work :)
July 6, 200322 yr Both sticks work with XP. Just lose the CD software. XP has its own software. If it doesn't recognize the stick, go to control panel/Game Controllers/and add the stick via the instructions.
