I have a quick question about the 9700 pro

Featured Replies

Hey I have had my 9700 pro for about 2 months(along with my new computer). The only problem I am having there is ant liasing issues on some of the planes and on all of them if I zoom out a little ways. I have my ant liasing(I think I am spelling that correct) set at 6x because that is all my board will support. All other games there is no jaggies. Also I have the Omega drivers. Before I got those drivers I had the same problems. If anyone can give me a fix I would be thankful. Thanks,Jason

Hey Bro :) I told you to get a geforce and you wouldn't be having those problems :-lol You just don't listen to your brother :-lol You know i'am just messing with you, I hope you find a answer to your problem

There are some aircraft that don't have enough mipmaps. If you find specific aircraft that have a problem, you can cure it by adding mipmaps. I've run across a half dozen or so out of over 200 that I have installed. There was a long thread about this over at flightsim a couple weeks ago. Nothing wrong with the card. Just the way some painters make their textures to keep the file size to a minimum.

Oh thanks for the reply. How would I add mipmapps for the plane? I do repainting but not to up on that. Thanks,Jason

It's all explained toward the end of this thread: http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/DC...ID10/41378.html Thread #41Let me know how you make out. I just delete the problem textures and find another. But if you got one you really like, get image tool and do as they did.
