Greetings,Thinking about upgrading my system (Dell Dimension 8200, Pentium 1.8, 500 SDRAM, GeForce 3 63 megs). Would I get more bang for my buck on FS by upgrading processor or video card to 9700 or 9800? Thx for any feedback.Regards,

Roy,Tuff question as your memory is actually your bottle neck followed by the Video card than the CPU. In all honesty if you must stick with that machine I would personally go with a 9500Pro. Around $190 bucks at Newegg.com . The problem you run into is that a lot of the newer cards scale in relation to the CPU. In this case your CPU though not lightening quick is still relatively fast. It's the SDRAM that's really killing the performance.Bobby

Bobby,Thx a lot for the feedback. Did not consider the RAM an issue, as I am not an expert in this area. Sorry for the typos...wrote the note late at night...obviously my RAM is 512 and 64 megs on the card. Appreciate the advice very much.Regards,
