Hello fellow simmers,Well........ I got her today Radeon 9800 pro 256 mb DDRII. I installed her in about 2 mins. Current drivers up and running in 5 mins. I set ATI drivers at MAX Quality for EVERYTHING!!Took FS for a spin absolutely phenomenal sharpness. The exterior model of 747 pushback is photolike with aluminum reflections!!Unfortunetly PMDG 737 didn't work with due to the card change, i'm sure it's just gunna need a new code to past in. :(How do I take Screen Shots in FS?? it has been awhile?My Question to those ATI Radeon 9800 pro 256 mb users what are the best setting for Drivers and in FS for max quality and decent framerates. I'm averageing 10-20 FPS. depending on plane and location with the following setup. What are the FPS eating setting ground showdows etc. I would like to get her up and hummming for FS2004.P4 2.4 533FSB, ATI Radeon 9800 pro 256mb, 1gig HyperK PC 3000 (kingston)Professional tweaker please. help. Screenshots; just hit the printscreen button and retrieve from the clipboard with any photo program.Card Setup; I run at 4xAA & 16xAF (performance) with my 9700 Pro PIV2.53@533 and 512mbPC1066. Max Terrain textures and max mipmaps, truform off, vsync on. Running at 16x12x32 which has to be setup in main FS2002 cfg file. Frames locked at 22fps.Settings/Display; max everything including dynamic scenery; set terrain mesh at 90 percent as that's processor. I run AI at default as that's processor. Visibility at 90, clouds 50-80; water on detail (this will change to reflections & Detail in FS2k4). Check all the boxes and run trilineal filtering. You can adjust from there; but I prefer these settings over everything I've tried.

Hi Billy,Just to let you know, I changed my old 8500 for a new 9800 pro yesterday.....no problems with the PMDG 737 though. Check my thread in the PMDG forum.

Hi Gilly,Yes, I read your thread. I installed ATI Raddeon 9800 pro 256mb and the registration code for 737NG has crashed. It loads into demo mode then has an infinitive # of "PMDG: Invalid Machine Code" pop ups. 737NG is not operational since video card change. I emailed PMDG registration yesterday, and support today no word as of yet. I'm starting to get upset. They specifically said no video card change will cause registration problems. That doesn't bother me as much as them not responding quickly when the product is not operational at all due to there error.I am a loyal PMDG fan, I may have to post this in the PMDG forum.. :(Anyway, I got my copy of F/A 18 : OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM today, and reserved my copy of fs2004 at babbages today. They will call me the day before realease. I will be standing outside their window the morning of release date.Welp, I've got to go try OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM!!!
