Hey guys!! i got a question here this bugs me very much!!!!!! OK here we go i upgraded my system pretty recently and so on and among things i upgraded i bought a Geforce FX 5900 Ultra 256mb ddr.But before i knew it i didnt have enough power i only had a 300 watt power supply so i went and bought an 550 Watts instead hoping that this would give enough power to my card. I insterted everything as normal.Then time for startup first thing i noticed was that i could select higer resolutions MUCh higer so i tought this is GREAT!! OK then on to the problem.I started up Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 with high hopes now then BAM! a screen came up saying OUT OF RANGE 85KHZ 75HZ. i was like ##### geez this never happend when i had a 300 watt power supply!!!! ??? what can be the probem ??? ??? ??? well my brother is a little freak of counter-strike it used to hang up at ceartin moments for him tough he gets stable 72fps.Even now with the new power supply the same thing HAPPEND!!!! i have no idea of what this could be so i turn to YOU guys plz help me!!! is it a driver problem??? maybe i need to reinstall the games??? maybe something is wrong with my graphc card???? help me plz!! i need to know i have spent so much money on my new system and i just want it to work!!! ;( ;( :-zhelp :-zhelp :-zhelpBest regrads a very sad flight78.PS excuse my bad english cuz im from sweden.

I think your video card is "overdriving" your monitor. If the monitor cant keep up with the video signal (either at too high resolution, too high refresh, or both), the monitor will not display and give a "out of range" error. Perhaps you should back down to a lower resolution such as 1280x1024 and 60Hz. Sometimes if a really high resolution is listed (like 1600x1200 or higher on a 17" display, for example), it might not be good to use it. Tell me your monitor's make and model and I can tell you the best resolution to run in.
