Anyone had problems or good results with this?

Nothing but good with this version.Some people may argue at me about me saying this but I actually did see an overall performance boost, more FPS in Nascar 2003 and in FS2002/FS2004.

>Nothing but good with this version.>>Some people may argue at me about me saying this but I>actually did see an overall performance boost, more FPS in>Nascar 2003 and in FS2002/FS2004.Yep, And I would be one of them since DX9.0b is a security fix and MS did not include any new API's. :)That being said; some times a fresh install can work wonders to orphaned registry keys left over from bad driver install and the like, and in that case one could increase their performance by a reinstall of their current version of DX.No matter though, if you are using DX9 you should install DX9.0b.

Couldn't see a difference, but as Paul said it's a wise update. :-)

Another question, is the DirectX box in dxdiag supposed to be spinning out of control?
