hey guys i dont know if u experts can help me solve this but when i set mipmaping to max it gives me a terrible shimmering effect across all of my scenery especialy autogen its horrible my pc spec is P4 2.8GHZ 512DDR Geforce Fx5600 256 Using 8XAGP and i dont have a clue how to solve it !:( if u can help it would be really appreciatedthanks

Turn mipmapping down to 6, that got ride of shimmering for me.

yea i have thanks for the advice and i have taken it trust me ! but you lose the quality of the textures doing that thow :S could be a bug with the actual card ? does anyone else have that problem with a radeon or a GF4TI4700 or something ?

Nope no problem with your card, its an FS issue, However I don't like how the quality gets degraded so I just leave mine at the highest and put up with the shimmering.
