Re: ATI vidcards, their drivers and future upgrade. . .

Hi all,I am going to start the process of building up a new computer in the next couple of months and am trying to figure out a few things regarding the ATI video cards that are out there. I have been using a G4 Ti4600 for the past year with decent results, but I like to keep on top of the technology curve if possible. Anyway, it seems that ATI makes the best cards for FS2004 right now, so I am going to get one. However, I have read numerous places that the cards have flickering/blurring issues in the menus and in the game itself. ATI users: is this present in ALL ATI cards or just a few models? If so, which ones? Also, is the "leaked" driver (omega) just a tweaked 3.8 catalyst driver? I assume the "leaked" driver will become a certified version from ATI down the road if it was leaked rrom ATI. . .Anyway, in summary, I'm just looking to get the best vid card for FS2004 (and a few other upcoming games) and want to make sure that I don't buy the best thing out there only to have it turn into a horrible simming experience.
