Hi all,Will i notice any performance improvements in upgrading my processor from xp1900 to xp2400? currently my frame rates are ok - 40 to 60 @ 1280x1024 until i turn on ai traffic then they drop to less than 10 at airports such as heathrow. Thanks

Mike,Without specific system specs such as VC and memory your running it's hard to give a definitive answer. In a nutshell, slight performance increase may be seen. Your still running the same FSB (266) on the same MB with the same memory speed so all your really doing in effect is gaining clock speed and not a lot at that (1600Mhz vs 2000Mhz).You say your experiencing framerates in the 40-60 range. You do realize those are amazing rates unless your running no AA and or AF.Depending on your current VC you would probably see a greater return performance wise on your investment by upgrading your Video card over your CPU.Another thing to consider is the amount of ram your currently running. With either version of Windows XP and running FS9, 512 megs is the minimum that one should be running.Hope this helpsBobby
