Hi everyone!:-waveI am about to replace my 17 inch crt with a 17 or 18 inch LCD. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions as to a good/ the best LCD monitor that will also run FS9 without any frustrating nuances (e.g. ghosting, flickering, etc.) I would Prefer one with a thin bezel, possibly black, or silver. Thanx for your suggestions!!

Honestly, I don't use an LCD on ANY of my gaming rigs for 2 reasons. Locked resolutions and refresh rates. Granted they have come a long way but dollar for dollar, for FS or any game/simulator a CRT would be my choice. A decent 21" CRT will still be cheaper than an LCD display that will give you the lack of artifacts you speak of.Like I said I have LCD's on my other 3 machines, 2 Samsung Syncmasters and my Baby, which I use for Photshop work and now FS Repaints, My Apple 23" LCD.If your hearts set on an LCD than a samsung is one of my favorites. Especially if it's a dual purpose machine. But if FS9 is your main gig, think about going LARGE w a CRT.Bobby
