November 7, 200322 yr Hi all.I'm currently running FS9 on the CAT 3.8's but was wondering if anyone tried the new CAT3.9's yet, and if so have they noticed anything good or bad, thanksSteve.
November 7, 200322 yr I would highly recommend updating to the 3.9's. They have finely cured the problem with the flashing menus. I've also noticed with the 3.9's that the menus load up almost instantly now and cycling views with the 's' key is much quicker too.Rob
November 7, 200322 yr How about the distorted text on the kneeboards in full screen mode? Did they catch that one as well? Thanks,Glenn
November 9, 200322 yr Seems to cure the page flipping problem perfectly, although the shimering buildings seem to have returned. Also there are new Nvidia drivers (3.13) for those with Nforce 2 motherboards. Nvidia suggest that it corrects "audio glitches" when the system is under heavy load. And so far that appears to be true, I have not had a single 'static' patch even with the AI traffic set to 100%.Regards,Kevin
November 10, 200322 yr Aarrrghhh. Shimmering buildings really bugged me. I think I'll go with Bobby's advice for now and stay with the Omega's. I don't see any problems at all with them at this point. Thanks for the update - appreciate that.Glenn
