Hi I'm currently looking at updating my mobo to a 3gig system but would like some advice/comments on whether to go for one based around an AMD or Intel CPU.Not totally sure on this one but i think i read somewhere that Intel systems handle DirectX applications like FS2002 better than AMD ones.Comments anyone...RegardsGary

Gary,If your looking to honestly run 3Ghz than there is no choice. Intel is the only one offering this high a clock speed. If you really want an AMD your going to sacrifice around 800Mhz in raw clock speed.Bobby

Go For Intel.I delivers you better frame rate without heating problems.It currently have a 3GHZ (FSB800) and I am very satisfied.And don't forget to go for FSB800.touradg
