advice needed: ATI 9600 Pro shows serious problems in f...

Hi!My Sapphire 9600 Pro shows the follwing problems when switching to fullscreen-mode:everything works fine until I want to display the menu-bar using ALT. It takes between 5 to 10 seconds until it is displayed, during this time I get display errors. The same thing happens when the menu-bar disappears again....I also get stutters when displaying text or when I change the sound-volume on my Logitech-keyboard (which displays a volume-slider overlayed onto the screen each time I change the volume...I could turn it off, of course, but I just wanted to describe the symptoms...).I also get a big frame rate - hit when I use software such as the Flightproject - Pilot Client (I know, could be the problem of this software, but it seems related to the other problems...). I get this hit only when the client shows text messages, not when it's showing graphical information (the client runs in a small window inside FS9.).BTW, my system:Athlon XP 2600,Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro,Windows XP,FS9,1024 MB RAM.I've tried every driver I could find, Omega and Catalyst, but couldn't get it to work yet...In window mode FS9 runs fine (although not the FPI pilot client...:-( ).It seems as if other people who use ATIs don't have probems besides the flickering problems...Please, if you know something I could try, let me know. I'm thinking about going back to Nvidias ....
