Just an idea guys. I downloaded and installed Window Washer (http://www.webroot.com/wb/index.php) and use it at least once a day, followed by Diskeeper's Defrag utility (http://www.diskeeper.com/coverpage.asp) and the speed I have picked up on my computer, and thus in FS is amazing. There are a whack of files that get stuck on your machine that you don't even know about when you are on websites, etc. that really slow things down. These two programs in combination seem to get all that speed back again. You vets probably know about this already, but perhaps some folks can use the info. Check it out. It's mostly payware, but if it keeps my other payware running smoothly for FS, then to me it's an essential.Glenn

I used that Diskeeper Defrag and I was amazed! I bought it right away, I got a huge increase, not so much FPS, just really smooth and windows seems to run much better, clikc and its like there!

hey,with my new pc i got diskeeper and i set it so that it defragments every 2-6 hours and i agree, it really speed things up...not sure bout gaming increse...maybe loading times...but not fps.dunno bout the other program u mention...might try it out.Dario
