Ive got the chance to upgrade from an XP2400 to either 2800 or 3000 (both 333FSB) Opinion seems to differ as to which is the best. Anyone using one of these with FS, or made a similar upgrade?Thanks for any help,Gareth Evans

go for 3000xpmore power the better in fs2004not much difference in price...ive got the 333 3000xp and its great.buy the boxed version so you get a proper heatsink.you don't say what your other specs are but you will notice the difference. best wishes steve

Thanks for the reply Steve. I did go for the 3000 in the end. I ahve it running ok, with the slight problem that no matter what speed I set it to, the machine reports it as an XP2800. It's set at 2.21Ghz at the moment, and running fine.Cheers,Gareth Evans
