September 28, 200421 yr I'm using a Geforce 6800 ULtra video card. While I was watching a replay of my landing, my 4x FSAA and 8x AF switched off. After the replay still the settings were switched off. I have a profile for FS2004 to set with 4x FSAA and 8x AF. I restarted FS2004 and my profile display settings for my video card worked again. What's caused FSAA and AF to turn off automatically in FS2004 while watching my replay.
September 28, 200421 yr I cannot tell you definitively what's causing the problem, however why use a profile instead of turning AA and Anio on in the control panel globally? Personally, I have never used the profile feature, and it doesn't bother me to switch modes depending on the game I am playing (only takes a second or two). What drivers are you using? Who makes your 6800 Ultra?Mike :-wave P4 3.2E @4.00ghz 250FSBDFI Lanparty Pro875B Rev B1gb Corsair XMS PC3500 2-3-3-6 @2.75vNvidia BFG 6800 Ultra OCSB Audigy2 Platinum ExSony CPD-G520 21' MonitorLiquid Cooled GoodnessPics: http://community.webshots.com/user/chksix2002 (NEW Gallery FS9@ 2048x1536!!!)
September 29, 200421 yr Well ok. I don't know what could be causing your problem other than the use of the profile function. Try using the global setting instead of the profile for a change (temporarily to see if it clears the problem). The only way to help narrow this down is through a process of elimination.P4 3.2E @4.00ghz 250FSBDFI Lanparty Pro875B Rev B1gb Corsair XMS PC3500 2-3-3-6 @2.75vNvidia BFG 6800 Ultra OCSB Audigy2 Platinum ExSony CPD-G520 21' MonitorLiquid Cooled GoodnessPics: http://community.webshots.com/user/chksix2002 (NEW Gallery FS9@ 2048x1536!!!)
