Radeon 9800 Pro Settings for FS-9

Featured Replies

Could some one tell me what settings they have there 9800 pro?Just got it today and want to set it up right for fs9EddieSystem Type2.4 Intel Chip1 Gig Main Board MemoryRadeon 9800 pro 128Meg Video CardCATALYST Windows XP 4.9 - DriversSound Blaster Live Platinum (Newest Drivers)XP Pro OS Sp-2FS-9

Try this:4X AA8X AF (or even 16X AF if the system will pull it) Forced. Force the AF... don't use Performance or Quality settings. They will allow the driver's AF algorithm to constantly adjust the AF. This is fine for FPS games (up close and personal), but in simming we are use to seeing far greater distances into our virtuel world. Forcing the AF will make the card use it's triple buffering capabilities yielding sharper textures farther away.Texture Preference and Mipmap Detail Level = High QualityWait for Vertical Sync = Application PreferenceThen tweak the AA and AF to your liking.Hope this helps,Greg
