Joystick problem

Featured Replies

hey everybody,I'm having some problems with my joystick. Yesterday it was working all fine, but when I unplugged it because I had to install a new graphics card and all of a sudden I can't get it calibrated properly. I'm using a Top Gun Afterburner II joystick.Does anyone know what the problem could be?ThanxTomi

Hi Tomi,First let me say.... I can't wait to convert all my controllers to USB for use with WinXP !! One thing I do find with XP and FS9 is that I'm better off doing a calibration FROM within FS9 rather than doing it in WinXP before I run FS9. Odd, since it just brings up the Windows calibration anyway.Don't ask me why... but it makes a difference between whacky controls and smooth input. But why did you uplug your controllers plug to replace the video card ? Was it plugged into the mother board or the sound card ? Bet you're asking yourself that very question now that it bit you. :-)Just kidding, it might have done it anyways..I want USB controls ! Anyone have luck with one of the analog to USB conversion adapters ?

I had to unplug it because I had to remove the comp from under the desk ;)I'll try that ;) But I tried it within WinXP about 20 times today...and I can't get the darn thing centered ;(I hope it'll fix the problem ;)
