Evening all,Currently, my new broadband connection is gradually taking a toll on my hard disk space. A few months ago I had 40GB of space on an 80GB hard drive, now I just have 26GB.I'm looking at a 200GB SATA hard drive and have a few questions. My Motherboard (ASUS A7N8X) has SATA connectors.Where can I find installation advice on the internet? In particular I'm looking at either:a) Using it as a secondary drive (d: dirve):( Having it as a logical extention to my c: drive (can windows XP home do this?)c) Transffering all the contents of the existing Parallel ATA drive to the new drive and then using the SATA as my primary disk, is this easily done?I've performed all manner of upgrades to my PC, but this one scares me the most simply because of the potential to lose data by wrongly configuring the disk drives (especially having my payware playing funny games on me).
