I bought an Audigy 2 ZS BUT...

Hello All Again...I posted a few days ago asking for opinions on whether to buy a new soundcard or new speakers to solve the "popping in the speakers" problem I experience while flying 3rd party add-ons like the PMDG 737 and the DF 727.However, as the subject of the post shows, the popping has continued. It occurs when I advance full throttle and then back to idle, as well as in the spot view.I have updated the MB BIOS but it didn't help. In the THX control console, and I go to calibrate speakers, and I check the enable noise test, the static noise comes out of each speaker. In the first speaker, it's fine at first and then a rhythmic popping begins, about one per second. In FS, it is not rhythmic. In the test, it sounds like it only is coming from the front left speaker, the first one tested in the noise test, whereas in FS, it sounds like the popping is coming from all over.I guess perhaps it looks as if the speakers are in fact the culprit of my problem, but the fact that the popping is so rhythmic in the test, it kinda makes me think that perhaps there is a system conflict causing it, but I have no idea what. Thanks for any help you could give me...TimWindows XP HomeGeForce FX 5700LEAudigy 2 ZS1024 MB RAM

I have the same sound card as you. Have you gone to the creative site and let there software check and see what updates you need for your card?
