When I'm browsing through folders all of a sudden everything will disappear (folder, desktop icons, etc.) and then slowly rebuild. This is Win Explorer crashing isn't it? Is a bad registry to blame? I'm running Win XP Home SP1. I should say I have a lot of desktop folders and aliases I rummage around in, probably habit from my Mac OS.Thanks,Todd

it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to run windows updates and defrag your hard drive
