Hi all, What would be the advantage of me reformating Win-Xp-Pro, and since I do not use Internet Explorer, not installing any security updates, or service packs? Would this increase performance,or comprimise securrity? Thank's for any info!

I would say compromise security, even if you use firefox, XP has many back doors that are open without any update, of course if you run a dialup connection you are at much less of a risk then with broadband.
