Hi Gang.I'm having no luck lately, I was being plagued with a g2d.dll error constantly in FS9, despite being up-to-date with all my drivers, and the drivers being installed properly I might add, but now that I have completly removed FS9 and my add-ons etc, and removed any remnants of it from the registry too,I was talking to a MS Support techie yesterday who spen't two and a half hours on the phone with me checking this and that, but in the end he suggested I remove, and re-install FS9 . . . . well, I asked him about DX9, and if there was a way to remove it, and re-install it, he told me to get rid of any DX related files from the registry in the usual place, HKEY-LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > DirectX Folders, such as direct draw, direct x, direct play etc etc, well. I'm running XP Pro with SP2 without any problems prior to this, but now I'm getting an error in the DXDiag page telling me that it can't find some files, and that I should re-install DX9, well, I would love to do just that, but I'm buggered if I can, every time I download the DX9.0C file, and run it, after clicking on the accept, it just says, DX9 is now up to date, but I'm still missing those files, has anyone got any ideas as to what I can do please,PS I did try downloading the whole DX9 re dist file of 33mb, and booting into safe mode, but it did the same as before, cheers,PS I WILL be calling that guy back tomorrow, if I can get him, but wanted to try and get this sorted myself in case it ever happens again.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/110307.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/110308.jpg
