Hi community,I know that this is a very old subject, and prone to much argument, but here goes.....In a few weeks, I will be building a new system, for FS9 ONLY.I can't afford a million dollar computer, but I would like opinions onCPU.In the last few years, I have ran AMD Athlon processors, and have been fairly happy with their performance, despite the running temperatures.I was thinking of perhaps going Intel, given that AMD is going down the 64-bit path. I say this because I'm not too keen on running Windows XP 64 bit, given that it's still a Beta.Please note that I only need views on the CPUs out there.I will be running Windows XP Professional, SP2Many thanks in advance.Andrew.

You don't have to run Windows XP 64 for a 64bit CPU. Intel and AMD are both great processors I personally run AMD at home
