Well, the topic subject is pretty self explanatory. I want to upgrade from my ATI 9600Pro, which BTW is a good VC, but cannot make a desition.I have found the X800 can be found at a cheaper price. I think it must be because of the the newest X850.What do you guys think,Thanks,Leo

This is an easy one...suggest the new 256MB X800XL chipset...can be found from numerous manufactures for $299-$350. Hi gents, I agree with D.Enault that the X800XL is probably the best bang for buck. And I also believed they were only available for PCI-e --> wrong! For example PowerColor has such an AGP offering. Otherwise, there are a couple of display adapter threads in the other hardware forum (MS FS subforum). Good luck and kind regards Jaap
