Frame rate problem, Help.

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, i've a big problem withe frame rate in flight, my pc is an intel pentium 2,66 HT video card Nvidia 128 mb Gforce, 1,50 GB of ram and flight sim is set on medium - high complexity of scenery........i locked the frame to 25 and i can't get above 10-11 fps!!! I don't know why can you help me to configure FS9?Thanks.

Hi,Well, considering your rig (in particular, the CPU) is relatively dated, the FPS you are getting is not too surprising. What resolution are you using? And what AA/AF settings? You may want to lower those and see if that helps. With regard to FS9 settings, I've found that cloud draw distance and sight distance can have a pretty large impact on frame rates. You may want to lower those. Note that ActiveSky recommends you keep these low anyway in order to minimize instant changes in weather/clouds.Hope this helps.Edwin
