Hi all,Here's the deal:I'm getting MUCH better FPS when I'm in WINDOW mode, as opposed to full screen mode which should be better, as most people would say.settings are, obviously, maxxed, with AA & AF maxxed as well (and I did test it without AA&AF - no change), Ultimate traffic 100%, Ultimate Terrain, PMDG 747 / LDS767 (32bit textures)3d clouds are still a headache, but even when they're turned off, or just clear skies, there's still a big difference between full screen and windowed, in favor of the window mode.specs are:WIN XP PRO SP1 (SP2 sucks)AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice (STEP E6)1Gb Geil CL2.5 DDR 400 RAMGeforce 6600GT (128mb)2x200Gb Maxtor DiamondMax 10 (16mb NCQ) RAID 081.95 XG Driver (tweaksRus)This is a brand new system which I'm constantly tweaking, reformatting and reinstalling, until I'll be completly satisfied with the performance....Appreciate your response :-)Ace

I have always gotten way better FPS in window mode however I do not fly or use it.

Shouldn't it be the other way? I myself used to get better performance with full-screen than in windowed mode... and besides, I just can't stand flying within a window, it just ruins the whole experience for me...any ideas/solutions any1?

are the resolutions the same for your desktop and your full screened FS?i would suggest making them the same and see what happens.if you are using an LCD screen, you absolutely must set your desktop and FS to the screen's native resolution, or everything looks kinda blurry.besides those things, i got nothin.
