Hello, I am looking for the current fastest ata 133 eide harddrive.I want to replace the HD on my non-sata asus a7n8x motherboard. Thanks to all that reply. Bill

Hi Bill,You may want to consider the Maxtor DiamondMax 10 series. Western Digital also makes some good drives but barring the Raptor (which is SATA), I would give the nod to the Maxtor.Hope this helps.Edwin

Ermmm... I've built a couple systems using the A7N8X boards and they both had SATA ports. In fact my wife is using one now with my first Raptor (37Gb) as her primary drive. Did ASUS make a version of that motherboard that didn't have SATA capaibilty?Greg
