Hi Phil,FS2004 does NOT take advantage of dual core. This does not mean that it isn't an advantage to go dual core at this time. By everything I can read/hear, dual core optimization is and will be a part of many software offerings in the future. Hopefully, FSX will take advantage of dual core technology. Go for it.

hi george, thx for your reply. i know that fs9 will not manage different operations at the same time with dual core, but what i want to know is will bothe cpus work together in fs9 or will only be one active. that would be not an improvement of my system when only one 2ghz processor runs. when both will provide me the full 3800+ ghz and coud work as a single, i would be very happy with it.phil
