Nvidia GForce 6600 need help tweeking settings

I have a Nvidia GForce 6600 256MB card. I need help in tweeking the settings in order to reduce the shimmering and flickering I am getting on some payware airport scenery.I have the following system:Dell XPS Pentium IV 3.06GHZ2 GB SDRAMNividia Gforce 6600 256 MG graphics card.I would like some advice on what "Performance and Quality Settings"I should have on the card in order to minimize the shimmering and flickering at payware airport scenery.The following are the choices:IMAGE SETTINGS: high performance performance quality high quality (I have this selected)ANTIALASING (AA): Application Controlled (let FS9 do the work) Off 2x 2x Q 4x (I have this selected) 8x5ANISOTROPIC FILTERING (AF) Application Controlled off 4x 8x (I have this selected) 16x In FS9: Antialasing I have unchecked (let the graphics card do this) MIP Mapping set to 5I noted that if I set the AA to 8x5 the shimmering and flickering of lines, is greatly reduced to where it is hardly visible.However, when I do this I have two problems: 1. In FS9 when I "Select Aircraft", the picture of the aircraft at the buttom is a black rectangle. 2. In FS Navigator, when I place the reduced FSNav map as a windows on my cockpit panel, the panel up to the hight of the FSNav window is solid black!Any suggestions on the settings would be appreciated.Thanks.Stanner

1. Shimmer put mipmaps in FS to 42. Overall setting to "Quality"3. AA/AF both to 4x (should be good enough)As for the black box, its a known issue with the Nvid Catalysts drivers, try using an older version, the 77. series works good, im using 81.85 which seems to be one of the few 8 series thats works ok, im not getting the black box anymore.DavisAMD FX57 San Diego incl.
