Hope that somebody can assist, because with the current doings of my PC, it is going to get a new owner.I have a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 Joystick. It worked 100% untill a few moths back. First the rudder started deflecting and behave "nervious" and now all of a sudden my Force Feedback does not want to work in FS2004. Everything is working fine, until I select "Force Feedback" in the controls settings, specifically the "control surfaces". Then in the "Properties" of the joystick, a message appears stating that " a problem was encountered with Force Feedback and it cannot be initialized" The moment I uncheck the " control surfaces" in FS2004, the property screen immediately indicates that everything is in perfect order.I have a Nvidia GeForce FX5200. When I'm using another program in FS2004, eg IVAP, the moment I open the interface, the part of my screen from the interface downwards "freezes" and indicates "old" scenery, as if it has some memory problems. In other words, eg while flying I open this interface or any other type of add on screen, at the top of my screen the ground will still move, but from the picture of the interface downwards, the screen indicates "freezed" scenery. Looks realy weird. I have tested diffirent drivers, but nothing happened. If I lower the "Mip Mapping" and "Hardware Rendered Lights" to 3 and lower, then this seems to disappear. Can somebody please help, or is it time for a format again?RegardsRassie
