November 13, 200619 yr I was wondering if I should wait and get the dx10 card with around 800 of memory or should I get ATI cross fire cards both 512 so it would be 1024 of memory right. Which would be faster other than the dx10 card is capable of new DX technology. Does Fs work better with the crossfire is it like having double the graphics power? just wondering?http://www.flightfactory-simulations.com/h...B_testpilot.jpgAdam [email protected]
November 15, 200619 yr I'd say if you do want to upgrade save and go for the DX10. Last time in tdragger's blog was mentioned no massive dual core or SLI/Crossfire support same thing different name.. to be expected.. I tried running fs9 with 2 7900GTX's and saw no amazing performance boost..
November 17, 200619 yr What video card do you have right now?Today I upgraded from a 7900GTX to a 8800GTX and got no increase in performance in FSX, however a few weeks ago when I upgraded from a A64 FX-55 to a C2D E6700 I got a big performance increase in FSX. I wasn't expecting a performance increase in FSX anyways from the 8800GTX but I play other games on my PC as well that did benefit greatly from the video upgrade.
