Increase in CPU power?

Featured Replies

Right now I have a pentium D 3.2 940 dual processor and was looking online and found the new core 2 processors. They are slower 2.66GHz but have much more memory and seem to be faster though. I am really confused if this will help Fs2004 or FSX in that matter? Is it really worth it or should I wait. http://www.flightfactory-simulations.com/h...B_testpilot.jpgAdam [email protected]

Hey Adam,Well the core2 owns almost any if not all CPU on the market. It will help FS not in the dualcore area but definatly in single core raw power.. I went from X2 3800 at 2.8GHZ to Core 2.. and im a very happy guy :DPentium D vs. Core2 lineuphttp://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2795&p=2
