scratched and distorted 2D panel with widescreen monitors???

Ciao to all,I read the msg posted here about the 24".Couldn't see the screenshoots, they're not avalaible unfortunally...I own a Sony 19" 4/3 lcd monitor with resolution 1280x1024 and wanted to upgrade to a widescreen 16/9 Samsung SM226BW with resolution 1680 x 1050...So here's my question...with a widescreen,using FS9 2D panel (737/747 PMDG)are there distorsions or scrached views???Can u post screenshoots please...????Is this monitor up-grading worth for me??I have a Radeon 9800Pro...should be still fine for a widwscreen with 1680x1050...Please give me suggestions ...ThanxxxxPaco

Paco, word of warning. Remember the other post i replied to you. The Radeon 9800 is NOT a powerful GPU, going to run very hi-res is up to you, but you have been warned if you find it not being able to give you the FPS you are hoping for.
