August 24, 200223 yr I only have one hat switch on my controller.I decided to assign the pan_view to my hat switch instead of beep_trim. Now I can pan around the virtual cockpit using my hat switch and click the arrows on the beep-trim panel to move around in hover mode. The flaw in this is that I can no longer increase/decrease my airspeed while in airspeed hold. I assumed the beep-trim panel would let me do this, but it doesn't. Anyone have a workaround? Thanks, Kenny B
August 24, 200223 yr Kenny, from the manual----------------Flight Director Modes Airspeed hold (AS)Maintains preselected airspeed using pitch control. This is very useful function in steep descets and ascents or used along with collective modes as described below. Airspeed is selected using the egt bug in FS( U & +/- by default ). Selected airspeed is shown in airspeed indicator.-----------------Kurt M
August 24, 200223 yr Thanks! Missed that part in the manual.Except now that I've been flying the dauphin all morning, it feels very natural to control the it from the hat switch. Perhaps I need to figure out how to change my keyboard arrow keys to pan instead of look...- Kenny B
