sidewinder and rudder pedals

Featured Replies

I read about people using a joystick with rudder pedals to fly helis. I have a Sidewinder Force Feedback PRO joystick and some old CH Products rudder pedals (both non-USB). Can I use them together in FS2002 and Windows 98? I tried just plugging everything in, but the control panel says my joystick has no power. Thanks, Tom

No - reason Sidewinder FF is digital and rudder pedals analog... you would have to find digital pedals... it may be possible to add them (digital)to your usb port and leave the gameport SWFF connected...?

I've been using a set of digital pedals with my FFB-1 for over 3 years. They're available direct from Germany and they are excellent. I've made an easy-to-do-mod that makes them closer to the real thing. They come with the adaptor that brings the stick and pedals together to a single plug that goes into your gameport. Here's the URL http://home.t-online.de/home/d-hofmann/homeeng.htm------------------Edit:Check the Tech Support page at his website -- there is a list of the various combinations of Gameport/USB that can be used.Calhover long and prosper
