I'm using a friend's computer right now and when I try to log into HC, it tells me I'm logged on but I'm not REALLY logged on!! I suppose it's that friggin virus that's going around. -Lindy

I was there a few hours ago, loged on and could do everything you can only do by loging on. Maybe where I am I'm not being as effected as where you are by the internet viruses buzzing about.Last night I couldnt conect to hardly anything and today I have maybe about half my bandwidth, took me all of 4 minutes to download a 6 meg file, thats an eternity compared to my usuall download speeds.sorry I cant be helpful, I think its mostly a matter of time..Having FunGrey_Wolf

Well, crud! :-lolI can't even log onto the net at all on my home computers. Using my friend's machine, I e-mailed my ISP. They are having trouble with their network -- probably one of the viruses that are floating about.I just tried at Hovercontrol again.......... no go. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks just the same, Grey-Lindy :-wave

Hi Keith.......I just left HC after another try at logging in. Still can't get in! This is frustrating. ;(8 Then again, at least I can get online. I'm still using a friend's computer. My ISP is down... down.... down. It'll be interesting to see if they got it fixed when I get home. How quickly we become used to being online and visiting with our friends at any time. :-beerchug-Lindy :-wave

Well, I'm back at my friend's computer and I STILL can't log in over at Hovercontrol. :-(Thankfully though when I was online earlier with my own computer (I finally managed to get online this morning), I was able to log in at Hovercontrol and conduct my business. I just wish I could figure out why HC doesn't like my friend's computer! :-lol-Lindy :-wave

My guess is that your friend's computer does not have cookies enabled or is running security software that is not accepting cookies from hovercontrol.com or Yoboworks.com the domains from which the HC forums are served. I see you on there today, so you must be having better luck at home. Talk to you later.

Yes, thankfully Jordan my home computer handles HC's website just fine. Next time I have the opportunity, I'll check his computer and see about the cookies. I hadn't thought about that. Thanks for the tip. -Lindy :-wave :-rotor

I've noticed on my home set-up that HoverControl, and some other sites, seem to have a preference for Internet Explorer over Netscape browsers. I'm not sure why that is as cookies, Java and Javascript are enabled on my Netscape browser. Must be something with my ISP connection and that particular site set-up. But, if you have any trouble in the future....try swapping browsers and see if that helps.'Rexbo'
